| The integration of 5G networks with WebRTC technology revolutionizes supply chain visibility by enabling real-time monitoring and instant communication capabilities for high-value cargo shipments across global logistics networks. This presentation demonstrates a comprehensive framework that leverages 5G's ultra-low latency and high bandwidth capabilities to establish WebRTC-based peer-to-peer connections between IoT-enabled shipping containers, logistics hubs, and stakeholder monitoring systems. Our solution addresses critical gaps in traditional RFID and GPS-based tracking by incorporating real-time IoT data streaming, environmental sensor data transmission, and instant two-way communication channels through WebRTC data streams. The system enables logistics managers to visually verify cargo conditions, witness loading/unloading processes, and receive immediate alerts for temperature deviations, shock events, or security breaches during transit. The architecture utilizes 5G network slicing to guarantee bandwidth allocation for critical shipments, while WebRTC's data channels ensure continuous transmission of multi-sensor IoT data even during handoffs between cell towers across national and international routes. Edge computing nodes at major logistics hubs process real-time telemetry from temperature, humidity, shock, GPS, and RFID sensors to identify supply chain disruptions through pattern analysis and anomaly detection algorithms, triggering instant WebRTC-based alerts and communication channels to relevant stakeholders when intervention is required.
