As we transition to a virtual conference, we’re increasingly excited about the opportunities this new format presents to host the premier global thought-leadership event for industry and academic experts in the rapidly changing field of real-time communications! We’ve been delighted by the response we’ve received so far, and are looking forward to sharing more details next month regarding the conference format, a preliminary speakers list, and how to register for free. In the interim, please note the deadlines below for submitting a presentation proposal to share your expertise at the leading technical and business edge of how we think about, create, and implement real-time communications networks, services and applications.
IPTCOMM 2020
The 13th IPTComm Conference will be held on October 13-14, 2020 as a virtual event. IPTComm brings together researchers from academia, industry and government to advance real-time multi-media, IP-based communications.
The conference is focused on current topics, including programmable network services, 5G, internet of things, and machine learning in interactive communications (natural language understanding and processing). The reliability, security, privacy, performance and scalability of real-time services that rely on or incorporate these technologies is of special concern.
The deadline for submission of papers is August 31, 2020. Please visit the Call for Papers for complete information regarding topics of interest and deadlines. Regular papers as well as works-in-progress are welcome. Application demos are encouraged.
IPTComm 2020 is co-sponsored by the IEEE Chicago section. Accepted papers that are presented at the conference will be published in IEEE Xplore.
Real Time Communications Conference 2020
IPTComm 2020 is affiliated with the Real-Time Communications (RTC) Conference organized by the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), Chicago. In addition to hosting the IPTComm Research track, the RTC Conference will have tracks related to IoT, WebRTC and Real-Time Applications, Programmable Real-Time Networks, VoiceTech, and NextGen Emergency Communications. A brief description of each of the tracks can be found on the Program page of the conference website.
The deadline for submitting speaking proposals is July 31, 2020. Please visit the Propose a Talk page of the Conference website to submit a speaker bio and presentation title, and presentation abstract.
The IIT RTC Conference and Expo is a globally recognized collaborative event, where industry and academia connect. Leveraging its unique academic setting, this annual conference brings together software developers, network engineers, entrepreneurs, business executives, students, and academic educators and researchers to promote an open exchange of ideas to lead future development in the rapidly changing field of real-time communications.
